This fun, guided half day trip will take you on an adventure down the clear waters of Voss' most beautiful river. A very easy and relaxing jouney, where the main aim is to have a good time.

With pristine waters and deep turqoise canyons that will take your breath away, the Raundalen river offers you the ability to see all the way to the bottom of the river bed for most of your journey down river. 

​

We begin the trip by getting you comfortable in your kayak and in the water.  We will explain to you the many features on the river and teach you how you can use them to help you maneuver your kayak easily. We will equip you with the basic techniques and paddling skills you will need to get you and your boat bouncing happily down the river.

​

You will be guided and supervised by a one of our friendly, experienced and qualified instructors for the duration of the trip, who will ensure your safety at all times, meaning that you can relax, take in the fantastic scenery and enjoy bouncing your kayak down some fun rapids and big bouncy wave trains.

This section or river is perfect for beginners and no previous experience is required.

Experience: No previous experience required

Requirements: All participants must be confident and capable swimmers

Time Allowance: 3-4hours

What’s Included:  Instruction, equipment and transport if required

What to bring: Light wool or thermals to wear under the wetsuit/drysuit

What not to bring; All valuables including, wallets cameras, phones, glasses or sunglasses.

This full day trip is suitable for both beginner and experienced kayakers. Tailor made by one of our highly experienced and qualified coaches to suit your skill level, this trip focuses on the learning of techniques and progression of skills on the river.

Whether you are in Voss for one day or one week, we can make sure that you get the best from your time on the rivers here in Voss. We will take away all of the stress and hassle of the planning, organising and logistics of your trip.

From checking the water levels, choosing the most suitable river to organising all transport, guiding and equipment and lunch, means that you can relax and enjoy paddling some of the best whitewater, and beatiful canyons you will find in Norway.

Our experienced guides and qualified instructors know the rivers here in Voss better than any. They are world class kayakers, skilled coaches and always eager to give some tips and feedback to help you progress in your paddling.
